BIGBANG’s TAEYANG Ignites Seoul with Explosive Solo Concert, Kicking Off Asian Tour

K-pop sensation TAEYANG set Seoul ablaze with his electrifying solo concert “TAEYANG 2024 TOUR [THE LIGHT YEAR] IN SEOUL,” marking a triumphant return to the stage after seven years. The two-day spectacle, held at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, on August 31st and September 1st, sold out within minutes, showcasing the star’s enduring popularity.

The “Eyes, Nose, Lips” hitmaker delivered a jaw-dropping 150-minute performance each night, seamlessly blending his chart-topping hits with newer tracks. From the soul-stirring “Wedding Dress” to the pulsating “VIBE,” TAEYANG’s versatility was on full display, cementing his status as a true all-rounder in the music industry.

Special guest appearances added extra sizzle to the already white-hot atmosphere. Rising star SOMI charmed the audience on the first night, while K-pop trio BTOB’s subunit BuSuekSeon (BSS) brought their infectious energy on the second. However, it was the surprise appearance of BIGBANG members that sent fans into a frenzy. D.A.E.SUNG joined TAEYANG both nights, while G-DRAGON made a shock appearance on the second evening, reuniting three-fifths of the legendary group on stage.
